Bounce, baby!

People...

the|blackscorpio thinks, these people do interesting, enlightening and just plain cool stuff,
which we are so fortunate to be able to see on their web pages.

Sometimes the heart blood of people becomes a commercial success,
and if they still rock and don't cater too much to the lowest common nominem possible,
you'll still find them here :)

Also you may find pages on which people worked with concepts and characters,
which are not entirely made up by themselves, i. e. fan pages.
If they go beyond the "OMG *drool* *kawaii* *Tokio Hotel/Inuyasha*" -state
you may find them here too :o)

. : : More of the really good stuff : : .

+ [Endless Spirit is palling afart]

This gallery shows the Endless Spirit of Nathalie Reinholz' art. With her art, this unusual artist reveals the backbone of this World in a humorous and poetic and sometimes dark way. Unfortunately not everything, that makes her so interesting, can be seen in this gallery, for example, I know she has a foetus ragdoll over her bed, and a dead twin sister under her bed. Her art expression reaches out of the medium and turns the surroundings into a happening. Also [photography] and [a Youtube channel] :D

Linkbanner for a thousand artless miseries

I believe this is what my art teacher meant, when he said I should "bring life to my characters". The comic book series "Wet Moon" are insanely gorgeous and wondrous in their flesh. Skilled line work and colouring by a guy, who leads a "drab life" as he says himself. I don't believe him.

Linkbanner for Aoi Hayashi's Online Manga

Aoi Hayashi draws the teenage and young adult heartache manga "Your Wings Are Mine" with simple and effective line work and eye candy page layout. Newer updates only available through paid subscription.

Linkbanner for Brian Despain Art

The Imphead in totally new clothes. But still fantastic art, and rich descriptions on each piece.

Linkbanner for casual villain

Talented and atmospheric comic-bookish character art, and a little bit evil ;) Also a black and white comic.

Linkbanner for Fallen Lights

Laura Pelick makes beautiful and a little unusual art, and she is very active in the art community by keeping communities and web rings. The site shows her fragile and wondrous visions. Artful nudity.

Linkbanner for Funny Bunny

Swedish Lady Vader gives home to a number of Blythe babes and lets those travel around the World. On her unusually designed page you can meet the Blythes and see all her other crafts in action too.

[Godwar central]

The Godwar central is the official page of writer Janrae Frank. Whilst rather new to all things Internet, Janrae has written fiction, before I even existed. In her writing she uses intense themes such as genetic engineering used as an augmentation of humans for war, also humans and warthogs were melted together and produced an orc herd. Janrae Frank created the character of Chimquar the Lionhawk who is a woman, who passes for a man and is pretty assertive, which may not be utterly unusual if it weren't for the fact that she invented this character before I could write my own name.

Linkbanner for Gorblimey - Socar's World of Weird

Socar's World of Weird isn't so weird to me after all...

Linkbanner for HumanDescent

Seriously, you have never seen animals like this! Human Descent fuses animal portraits and people portraits together in a whole new creative expression. Lookielookie :D

Linkbanner for The World of James Browne

The World of James Browne is a good one, with faeries, elves and no evil things like scathing modernity or harsh contrasts. I love this.

Linkbanner for jdillon.net - Art and Illustrations by Julie Dillon

Colourful, fleshy, and sometimes swirly fantasy creatures and fantasyscapes in a warm and friendly page by Julie Dillon.

Linkbanner for the Art of Jenny Dolfen

German artist Jenny Dolfen is my personal water colour goddess. Besides her radiant pictures, she shows some page design skills, when it comes to colours. Recent art on [deviantART]

Linkbanner for The World of The Art of John Emanuel Shannon

When John Emanuel Shannon was 30, he was introduced to Photoshop. Photoshop should make that date a celebration day.

Linkbanner for :// John Howe :: Illustrator

Massively talented John Howe, who illustrated many Tolkien works. He pays attention to the entire picture, not just the creatures. Behold [this picture of Gollum] The rocks are insanely excellent.

Linkbanner for KAGAYA Gallery

"Biography of KAGAYA:

His constellation pictures are made into jigsaw puzzles, which are gaining popularity around the world."
Kagaya also has a YouTube account (!)

Linkbanner for Loyalty & Liberty -Graphic Novel about the American Revolution-

Tamara Gale, a. k. a. the Winged Meezer, also has a comic novel in the making: "Loyalty & Liberty", about the American Revolution, so there will be cats and revolution in The New Country. I love her catsy critters dearly :)

Linkbanner for Meredith Dillman Ilustrator

Meredith Dillman's works are ethereal, delicate and dreamy. She should be hired to illustrate the "Neverending Story" and the architecture of Lothlôrien. In the meantiime, she has moved to the digital market, and offers phone covers, and here's her [Facebook fan page]

Linkbanner for Mindsiphon Dark Fantasy, Horror and Science Fiction Art of Rob Thomas

Mindsiphon is Robert Thomas and a talented digital artist and designer, who makes fantastic pieces of goblins, dragons and other dark creatures. When he doesn't draw for fun, he designs DC-cover cases, books, games, websites, and everything else that needs a breath of dark.

Linkbanner for naomi.se

Shiiiny :) candy-coloured and sometimes fruitily tongue-in-cheek works by Naomi Johanna Nowak, who in the meantime has several art gigs out. Also a [deviantART account]

Linkbanner for Neon Dragon Art.com

Jessica Peffer takes her art seriously. She also handles spaces well. And then she has a colourful alter ego, who is a neon dragon ;) There also is an art critique forum, and DAMN, do I love her preferred colour schemes :D.

Linkbanner for Stephanie D. Lostimolo

Stephanie D. Lostimolo's portfolio brings you saturated, clean-coloured but not pasty pictures, which sometimes have lots of details and sometimes are very simple. The art tolerates to be looked at for a long time, without losing its magic. Also interesting sketches.

The Collected Tears of the Weeping Nivbed

Justin Cherry has an interesting page structure and makes darkish high fantasy paintings with all sorts of creatures, animals and also those without form.

Linkbanner for P.L. Nunn's Bishonen Works

P. L. Nunn works the Bishonen. Large gallery with lots of handsome hunks, tastefully animeish art centeretd around, well, good-looking guys :D Warning: Bring drool buckets and lock your minors away :))))))) Art, as well as fiction.

[pu-sama's deviantART]

pu-sama is one of the most visited artists on deviantART, and she has on several occasions mentioned her ambivalent feelings about that. She is one of the artists who has evolved the most during me watching her output. Here's her [Livejournal]

Linkbanner for RedCoatCat.com

Cats! Tamara Gale draws Cats in Coats, naturalistic portraits of cats, cats as part of mystic and lore, and she sells products with her artsy cats on. Also a [deviantART account]

Linkbanner for http://www.sandara.net

"Sandara"'s page is another "woah, so dreamy and aetheric" art page, although she has found her more gritty sides and put them out in the gallery. Besides humanoids and people characters she also does fantastic World-of-Warcraftish scenery.

Linkbanner for The Little Vampire Fanpage by Jens Holze

Another fanpage on Rüdiger :D Character descriptions, story outlines, pictures and downloads. And the Howl^^ This page wins for its "Web 2.0" content, you can subscribe to the page news via feed reader and there is a prepared search for the books on Amazon.

Linkbanner for z-place

Camille Kuo's page has died, and so I give you her [deviantART] and her [Elfwood] account :)
